This Canary wood has a wide range of color from red, orange, yellow, and green, to golden and brown. Similar in density to Brazilian Tulipwood, Canary works easily for a dense hardwood and takes a high natural polish. The wood is kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. It is very clean and usable, but may contain occasional bug holes or an occasional small check. Boards over 36" long may have a slight bow or crown that is 1/16" to 1/8". This species is used in all kinds of fine woodworking projects. Worm holes may be present in this piece, please see pictures for details.
