This incredibly beautiful batch of Cambodian Ormosia lumber has interesting colors with variegated black lines. The color contrasts and patterns are similar to Desert Ironwood or Southeast Asian Pheasantwood. This wood species has open grain that is somewhat coarse until sanded. A few pieces may have slight checking or minor bow/twist that should lay flat with minimal pressure. This batch has been air drying for 9 months (as of October 2018). All material contains residual moisture, though thicker lumber has more moisture than thinner lumber. All of the wood has been surfaced on two sides. This piece of lumber has a 4" check on the numbered face with neat patterns a few other surface checks.
