Amboyna Burl Cut Offs

Amboyna Burl, Pterocarpus indicus, is the World's rarest and most expensive burl, possessing incredible colors and patterns. It was used for the first Rolls Royce's dashboards. It is moderately easy to work and takes a very smooth, high polish that makes pens absolutely outstanding! This wood has air dried for 12 years and may contain a little bit of residual moisture but most is dry and ready to use. Live edges, incursions, voids, and minor checks may be present. Please see photos or inquire. The pieces in this cut off box ranges from 1/8" to 3/4" thick. The pieces could be 1" long. There are live edges, incursions, voids, and checks present. This is suitable for small projects such as jewelries, pens, etc!
