Pecan Vessel Blank
Pecan, Carya spp. originates from the South Central USA to northern Mexico. The trees grow to heights of 90-125 ft. with trunks up to 4 ft. in diameter. The wood is dense and durable. Colors range from tans to medium browns. Uses include tool handles, flooring, cabinets, boxes and more. To avoid tearout, please use sharp tools. Pecan wood glues and stains well.
