Genuine Teak burl is an exotic wood that is highly sought after for its water resistance, fragrant aroma, and smooth luster. A great beginner wood, this species is easy to work and very beautiful when finished. It has a moderate blunting effect on blades. This woodturning stock has air dried for 7 years as of fall 2022, but may contain some residual moisture. Blanks may have checks, inclusions, live edges, and natural shapes. Each blank is unique! This piece has pin holes, please see pictures for details.
