This high quality Angelique wood is ideal for turned articles! It produces a smooth polish when worked and takes an oil finish well. Air dried for two years, this wood contains some residual moisture. It dries well with minimum drying defects. You'll love the beautiful, warm browns with some rust red contrast.

Fills a medium flat rate box. These cut offs are deal for jewelry, inlay, intarsia, and other fine products. Size ranges from 1" to 8" long x 1/4" to 2" wide (most 1-2"+ width) x 1/8" to 3/4" thick. Weight will vary. Angelique is a beautiful hardwood that machines moderately well and takes a nice smooth finish. Oil finish works well for this species. These cut offs are air dried but may contain slight residual moisture. ***NOTICE: The cut off boxes are sold by volume, not weight. Weight listed is an approximate ship weight, not product weight. This piece is kiln dried and surfaced on two sides and is ready for use. It has one rough edge and numerous pin and bug holes that you must be able to work with. It has some beautiful black streaks in the sapwood.
