Canary Lumber

This Canary wood has a wide range of color from red, orange, yellow, and green, to golden and brown. Similar in density to Brazilian Tulipwood, Canary takes a high natural polish. The wood is very clean and usable, but may contain occasional bug holes, or an occasional small check. Boards over 4 ft. long may have a slight bow that is 1/16" to 1/8". It is kiln dried and ready to use. This species is used in all kinds of fine woodworking projects. One face of this piece contains two open knots, and a meandering heart check about 12" long 3/8" deep as well as a 6" check on the bottom near the edge.
