Bark inclusions and live edges are normal with this species as are some checks and voids. It is common for Buckeye to have 1/8” to 3/16” bow, cup or twist. The wood is very pliable; it is easy to apply pressure to boards to get them to lay flat. Buckeye is an extremely difficult wood to cut and procure. Enjoy this special treat!
