Southeast Asian Iron Burl wood combines figure and burl with warm Amboyna-like colors! It is two shades lighter than Amboyna Burl but similar in density and working properties. Bark incursions and checks may be present in some pieces. Most blanks are dry but may contain residual moisture. This high end hardwood is ideal for fine woodworking projects such as jewelry boxes, pistol grips, knife scales, and more! You’ll love working with this rare wood. This bowl blank has some penetrating bark incursions with soft spalting present on the numbered end. Must be able to work with the noted defects. It is 60% usable to most projects.
