Primavera

Tabebuia donnell-smithii Primavera is also called white mahogany although it has no relation to the swetenias. It is a beautiful wood that is easy to work and finish and glues easily. Trees growing in the higher elevations of the Mexican Pacific and south developed the best figure. Lowland trees are generally white with some yellow and are void of figure. Primavera must be cut in the dark of the moon to reduce the damage caused by insects that eat the sap that is present in the trees when it is cut in the full of the moon.
