An extremely rare species from Chile that usually is turned into veneer. We managed to get some of the burls so that you can try out the wood! Gorgeous dark brown, black & golden colors with olive undertones. Typically this wood has incredible burl with some figure as well. Tendency towards movement in service. Carefully dried and surfaced on two sides.  Incursions are normal for the species. Interesting figure and colors! Beautiful with tight burl eyes! Small incursions and small checks are normal. Dry and surfaced on two sides.  Live edges and most have some small surface checks as noted. W16718:  1/16″ cup.  A few small bark incursions.  Incredible tight burl eyes!
