8 lbs. 30″ x 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Dalbergia spruciana is the closest known relative to Brazilian rosewood.  A rare species worldwide that grows in the same Atlantic rainforest in Brazil as Brazilian rosewood, this wood is  indistinguishable from Brazilian Rosewood except for the lack of distinct smell that Brazilian Rosewood has.  The visual and tonal qualities are nearly identical. The most common use of this wood is for instruments, though it is used in many other applications as well.   Quarter or rift sawn faces are clean.  The other faces are 75% clear of checks.  Dry and ready to use.
