Collection: Lacebark Elm

Lacebark Elm, Ulmus parvifolia, is native to Japan, Korea, and China. It is a medium sized tree that grows to heights of up to 70 ft. with diameters of 2 ft. or more. The tree is resistant to the diseases that affect the other Elm species. Lacebark Elm bark is mottled instead of ridged. The wood mills well, glues easily, and dries with little degrade. Its colors include orange, yellow, pink, and light tan. This easily workable hardwood is ideal for woodturning and other woodworking projects.
