Chinese Elm Burl
Chinese Elm burl is a true Elm species which generally has interlocked grain producing ribbon striped figure. Elm takes a good finish with high iridescence that is quite beautiful. The grain is coarse and sticks up until sanded. The lumber dries well with little degrade. Typically there is figure or interesting patterns in most lumber.
