From the Equatorial forests of Africa's Western Congo, this hardwood has beautiful deep & golden yellow colors. Once in a while there is a figured log that makes it through that is not cut into veneer.  The wood is dense and somewhat difficult to work and is used for anything from cabinets to floors, jewelry boxes and fine turnings.
