 This is a large rift sawn block that could make two nice 6" x 6" x 5" bowl blanks. This burl used to be pink and red but the ebonizing process turned it all light black! There are a few checks and some live edges in this piece. It has been cut for 3 years and dried for 6 months so there is moisture in the block. A unique wood with an unpleasant odor.
