There are a few end checks on one end and one on the other end. One rough edge. 4 lbs. 17B: Ends are wax sealed. There are a couple small incursions on one edge. One end check that affects both faces & is 1-1/2" long. 1/16" twist. 4 lbs. 18C: There is a small incursion on one face and a couple knots on the other face. There are a couple hairline checks on both faces. There are numerous hairline end checks at one end and a couple on the other. Flat to rift sawn. 5 lbs.

A few checks on one face near edge - affects about 12" of length. 12 lbs. 21B: One face has a split running down the middle of it - from the end grain it appears that it affects quite a bit of the thickness so this is recommended for cutting into smaller projects. Minor planer hit/miss & a few very small incursions. Minor rough edge. 19 lbs.

End checks on both ends of piece. 3C: Planer hit/miss on one face. Minor end checking on both ends. Some minor surface checks as well. 3D: 1/8" crown. Very small planer hit/miss. Some minor end checks. A couple tiny pin holes. 1/16" twist.

Chechen & Brazilian Ebony 4 pack Chechen is also known as Black poisonwood, Caribbean rosewood, chechem, and others. It is not a true rosewood but has a similar high polish possible when finished. There is a two tone grain pattern that is also similar to the rosewoods. This species is used for furniture, cabinets, Jewelry boxes, and humidors. Colors range from browns, pink, reds, golden, and black. These have some very nice color and figure present! The second largest board is Brazilian Ebony. We measured the largest and the smallest boards. Although not a true ebony Brazilian Ebony is just as dense and has similar working properties with less of a tendancy to split. These are surfaced on two sides and air dried for 5 years. Packaged weight: 17 lbs.

Chechen 4 Pack We measured the largest and the smallest in this lot of 4 caribbean rosewood boards (chechen). Surfaced on two sides and air dried for the last 4 years. There are some surface checks on some ends and faces. Figure is present in some of the pieces. expect 60-70% usable. Packaged weight: 16 lbs.

Chechen 3 Pack This is a great 3 pack with lots of nice colors and figure! Surfaced on two sides, and kiln dried. There is planer hit and miss on two boards. Photos were taken outside and the boards were on the frosty ground and picked up a temporary grass pattern that is not present on the boards now. The best photo is what these boards look like. Dry and ready to use! Weight 14 lbs
