This is good "B" grade buckeye burl blocks so there are only a several incursions in each piece. When we receive large buckeye burls there are rocks and dirt in them making the initial sawing a nightmare! Once the burls have been cut down the rocks and dirt is removed. Cook Woods is the only sawmill that kiln dries all of our 1" buckeye burl

This is our fall off from producing larger blocks and guitar billets. Our pen blanks and bottle stoppers are cut from this material so you can cut your own and save! Buy a bottle of ca glue and you will save yourself a bundle over pre-cut and stabilized buckeye burl blanks. The wood is dry and ready to use!
